Highline Club to Host B-Town Running Group Every Saturday in September
B-Town Running Group is a great way to improve your stride, get in shape, meet your neighbors and make some new friends! Experience the benefits of being part of a supportive group of runners by hitting the streets of Burien for a self-paced run each Saturday from 9-10 am.
EVERYONE IS INVITED AND ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOME! We can’t stress that enough! Walk/running is perfectly acceptable. We aren’t elite runners, we are just here to support each other and have a great time!
We meet at the sculpture in the park at the Burien Library and generally do a 2-3 mile loop. You can RSVP for the runs at MeetUp.com– or just meet us at 9:00am ready to go!
Highline Club will be hosting the following runs:

Saturday, September 13th at 9:00am (followed by a running lecture at the Library from 10:30am-11:30am)
Saturday, September 20th at 9:00am

B-Town’s favorite family fun run is back again! Run with Team Highline Club in this year’s Burien Brat Trot!
What is it?
Come enjoy a day of fun in Olde Burien at the Burien Brat Trot…the best fun run around! If you’re in to win it–or in it to walk it–this race is for you! And it’s followed by Bavarian Fest–a festive street party compete with beer gardens, food trucks, Dan the Sausageman sausage, kids’ activities, photo booths, race awards, live music and who knows what else!
Race Proceeds benefit Highline Schools Foundation – providing resources to help all local public school students succeed in school and in life!
When?
1:00 pm October 5th, 2014
Where?
On the corner of 10th and 152nd in Olde Burien. We will meet at a location TBA before the race to gather, pick up your team t-shirts and get pumped up!

You! You do not need to be a member of Highline Club to run with the Highline Club Team! All skill levels welcome- walk, run, crawl- it doesn’t matter! Highline Club will be hosting B-Town Running Group’s Saturday morning runs all through September to help prepare for the race. Everyone is welcome to come join us every Saturday morning at 9:00 am in front of the art sculpture at Burien Library. All skill levels welcome for the running group, too! RSVP at Meetup.com or just show up and run with us. Come meet your team members and make some new friends!
How?
Register now at http://www.burienbrattrot.com and choose the Team category. Enter “Highline Club” as the team code to join our team and save $10 on registration! YOU DO NOT NEED TO PURCHASE THE RACE T SHIRT. We will be making Highline Club Team t-shirts. If you would like a Highline Club T-shirt, please give $10 and your t-shirt size to Kelly in Membership Services before 9/30/2014. If you do not want to purchase a Highline Club team t-shirt, wear as much red and white as you can on race day and you’ll fit in just fine. Team registration is open until 9/30/2014.

Run With Highline Club at This Year’s Burien Brat Trot!
Join the Highline Club team and run the Burien Brat Trot 5k with us October 6, 2013!
Highline Club staff and members will be running as a team this year and we want you all to join us! Highline Club team members save $15 on registration. All fitness levels are welcome, it’s finishing that counts!
5k race starts at 1:00pm beginning on the corner of 10th and 152nd. After the race, we’ll meet up at a location to be announced to celebrate! The team with the most members wins a party at the Tin Theater, so we want to see everyone there!
Run like a wiener! I mean, winner!

- Click “Online Registration”
- Click “Register”
- Select “Team Registration”
- Fill out the form. At the end of the form there is a field to enter the team code. Enter HAC, all caps, to register for the Highline Club team and receive the team registration discount.
Registration of team members is $20. This does not include a race t-shirt because we will be providing team shirts. There is the option for individuals to purchase a race shirt, however, if you would like one. When you register, please remember to email Kelly at membershipservices@highlineclub.com with your t-shirt size!
